Project Description

In 2022, my group from an Entrepreneurship class was chosen to deliver a pitch presentation in front of business professionals. I was in charge of the visuals of the product that originated from our brainstorming, and its marketing strategy. As a result, a social media page was created.

Our group's fictional product, named ‘Cola Savoir’, was well received and praised for its refined and elegant impression, along with the unique execution idea of having a classy, wine-like drink in a potion bottle.

Detailed Process & Outcomes

The project involved developing a business plan for Cola Savoir, targeting high-end dining experiences.

The product was designed to offer a less sweet, low-sugar alternative to traditional sodas, catering to health-conscious individuals aged 30-60 who seek a refined, non-alcoholic beverage option.

The unique bottle design and sustainable packaging aimed to position Savoir as an elegant and premium product in the soft drinks market.

Marketing & Sales Strategy

Positioned Savoir as a high-end product sold exclusively at gourmet restaurants using a differentiation strategy.
Established an Instagram presence to build brand equity through targeted content marketing, showcasing the product’s sophisticated taste and sustainable packaging.
Decided on a B2B sales approach with direct pitches and product demos to fine dining establishments.
Limited distribution to select restaurants to reinforce prestige and scarcity, supported by value-based pricing to reflect its premium positioning.

Visual Branding & Design

Emerald Green Theme: Created a cohesive brand identity using rich emerald green tones to evoke a sense of exclusivity and sophistication.
Designed packaging that conveys premium quality and elegance, enhancing the potion bottle’s unique shape.

Market Research & Product Development

Conducted extensive research on the UK carbonated soft drinks market and identified a gap for a healthier, premium cola alternative.
Developed a unique cola recipe with a focus on sophisticated taste and aroma, using vegan and low-sugar ingredients to appeal to the target market.
Created a visually distinctive potion-style glass bottle to reflect the brand’s luxury identity and enhance the product’s perceived value.

Instagram Page

I created an exemplary Instagram page for Savoir and designed posts that would promote the business. By setting a strategy for the brand, and showing a rich and modern look, I balanced inspirational quotes, behind-the-scenes content, and product spotlights. Using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Canva, I ensured visual consistency and appeal, maintaining a dynamic and engaging feed that effectively showcased Savoir's unique cola product.
